Problem Statement

An engaging platform to entice users to visit Severn Valley.

Severn Valley has several attractions which includes waterfalls, railways, cycling activities etc. Imagine not having a platform to showcase the amenities and attractions to promote tourism in the area.

Research

Research was done by an external team with reports handed over to me to aid in my design process.

After forming a solid understanding around the reports of the research of this project, I prioritized the features of the project.

The main goals of the design was to improve the site's navigation and and showcase Severn Valley's attractions and amenities on the website.

Testing

Prototype Testing

To create a high-quality and seamless experience, I created user flows and defined testing scenarios to test the prototypes with sample users. The high-fi prototypes were tested by both staxo group and sample users by the research team.

Feedback

Feedback from Users

The documentation, design, and versioning of the Severn Valley designs were reviewed and approved by the stakeholders. In addition, we received positive feedback from stakeholders, users, and the developer team.

Reflection

Reflections & Future Iterations

Designing interactive sites like this was actually fun. I figured out how to prototype designs using figma and learnt new tricks i did not know about. Also, working with an external team (research team) taught me simpler methods of conducting research.
